Hi All

I have a Gigabyte GA-Z77-UD5H and I'm having issues with it detecting PCIe addon cards (don't show in Windows or Ubuntu Live CD).

The cards work in my other machine so it's not a faulty pcie card....

Does anyone have a Z77 or 77 series motherboard I can grab?

thanks

What CPU do you have ?

from the manual - "1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x4 (PCIEX4)
* The PCIEX4 slot is available only when an Intel 22nm (Ivy Bridge) CPU is installed."

so if your using i7-2700K or other ix-2xxx cpu one of the slots wont even be available :-)

Running the latest bios F16J (not tried anything older however)

Only have a GPU installed no other PCIe cards installed.

I've also plugged in the sata cable to provide additional power but no luck there either.
