I have used this for a couple of years, but have moved my photo backups to a Synology NAS now.

 

Never missed a beat in the time i have had it. It is now out of warranty though, but has always been behind a online UPS and in a temp controlled rack.

 

I have performed a full factory reset and is ready to go.

Sorry for the delay, got caught up with other things in the evenings!

 

There is no SMART test function from within the GUI on these devices, however i downloaded the complete system logs and found the SMART log.
