Hi All, just checking if anyone has any desktop DDR3 1600 RAM hanging around that they'd like to sell before I turn to trademe.

Its for my sons desktop PC which has 2 x 4gb generic sticks already so prefer 4gb sticks over 2x2.

Happy to negotiate on price. Can pick up in Wellington is possible.

Do you mean you currently have 2x 2GB?

If so, it’s better to have that, compared to 1x 4GB if the motherboard supports dual channel memory.

Too many dreamers locally on old hardware, I went to aliexpress to get old ram when I last needed some.

Wouldn't mind holding on to a couple, but would you want 2x4GB modules?... what are they worth?

I'm in Palmy, but can give to my partner who works down in Welly during the week. You would be able to pick up from the city (willis street area)

@chevrolux, Im easy whether its 4gb or 8gb. Well thats what Im a bit stumped about, as a previous reply said there are some dreamers on TM. Ive seen prices from $30 to $200. Im not trying to get a free ride but Im not after premium kit either.
