Hi there,

I was just wondering if anyone had a receiver they wanted to sell. Only requirements are that it's hdmi 2.0a and hdcp 2.2 to keep up to date with 4k standards.
Hopefully will also be WiFi and Bluetooth, Spotify etc.

On a pretty tight budget, hopefully under $500.

Located
Howick but can drive to pick up etc.

Thanks
Andy

Thanks for that, not a bad price. Shame about not having WiFi though

You're after a lot of features for a low price. You may need to add 50% more budget to get all that kit...

This ticks a few of your boxes:

https://www.jbhifi.co.nz/tv-home-entertainment/home-theatre/onkyo/onkyo-tx-sr373-5-1-channel-av-receiver/338976/

And for spotify I would recomend adding something like a Mi Box for $90 which will do that and so much more....

FYI - Onkyos had HDMI problems a few years back - I had a TX-SR606 that suffered it. I replaced it with NR646 a couple of years back and it has been sweet - so I believe they have sorted this issue.

JB had that one on special 2 weeks ago at $498.

Thanks for those options, pretty good choices.

I have seen a second hand pioneer vsx 830 for $500

Seems pretty cheap as go for $1k new.

Avalon audio had fixed onkyo nr-656 for $350 (with scratch on top) or $400 (no scratch, like new) with a 6 month warranty in the last 2 weeks.
These things do go on special now and again, it's just a question of how long you can wait.
