Was hoping for $500, could do a bit less for a fast easy trade with a fellow Geekzoner

No worries. I might be a bit out of touch with the market... just curious, what do you think it's worth?

Since it has an OK MOBO, CPU and RAM combo I'd put that "upgrade kit" at around 250-350, guessing no HDD or SSD and the case+PSU is a small factor, maybe $50 on top. I do need to get him a GPU in with it so I'd be better to buy something like the 4690 with the 660TI on trademe starting at 450 or an AMD system.

There's actually a 500GB HDD with it (installed Windows on it, not activated). Might be able to source a decent GPU as well (I'll need to check)

Any chance of a SSD? When I hear 500GB HDD i instantly think 5400RPM laptop hdd...
Let me know about GPU, If you can give me a price and spec when you know I can give you an answer.

Cheers

- (2x) Draytek Vigor 120 ADSL2+ Modem

How much are you after for one of these? Trying to figure out whether it's worth replacing my parent's PoS ISP-supplied model with something a bit more reliable...

OK, sounds good. Or at least, anything to save another round trip that turns into "have you switched it off and on again". I'll PM you for details.
