I've got the following items for sale; PM me if interested.

Amazon Fire TVs  x 2

  • most recent model (pendant-style; 4k; Alexa etc - see Amazon for details)
  • brand new
  • $75 each including shipping (or $70 for pick-up in PN)

Amazon Fire TV

  • first gen
  • a few years old, but still working brilliantly; can play back 1080 content via Kodi ok (1080 can take a bit of catching up when fast-forwarding)
  • has Ethernet port - a big advantage over the newer Fire TVs and the Fire TV Sticks
  • $45 including shipping (or $40 pick-up in PN)

TV stand for 32-55" TVs

  • as new; opened and begun putting it together before realising it didn't lift the TV higher than the TV's own legs!
  • all parts carefully put back in bags, and re-boxed.
  • original site I purchased it from - came across this after it was recommended by another GZ member (on this thread)
  • works well for TVs with the feet located to their edge when they are placed on a smaller base
  • $35 plus shipping (or pick-up from PN)

Update: one of the new Fire TVs has sold, but other items still available; PM me if interested.

Will list on TM in a couple of days otherwise (where the latest Fire TVs go for considerably more than $75!).

Cheers
Jonathan

Both new Fire TVs sold now; open to offers on the s/h Fire TV and TV stand over the next few days, ie before I can find the time to list on TM.

Slightly off-topic, but can you tell me if the Fire TV will connect to NZ Netflix so I can play shows on my NZ Netflix account? Do I need to subscribe to any Amazon services to get Netflix? I really just want Netflix media (oh and perhaps YouTube), without having to subscribe to Amazon services.

Thanks!

Yep, Netflix works perfectly without any issue. I think you need an Amazon account to be able to download additional apps. It's a great value media player, as it can also run Kodi no problems. Also means you can use Spotify is it's connected to a stereo.

Great, thanks for the confirmation. They sound like a great deal.
