Anyone on GZ want to buy this before it goes on TradeMe?

$550 + shipping

https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N1080G1-GAMING-8GD

Been in my gaming rig and primarily used for gaming, but has done occasional "hobbyist" level mining.

Deal of the country! I don't know why people complain about coil whine, a desktop pc has fans that are louder than any whine the gpu can produce. Yes if you put your ear next to it when it's hot there may be a sound. But a gaming rig doesn't have loud speakers playing sound effects? Lol

Perhaps if you have a trash case the fans are loud, and I find the coils to be way more annoying than a gentle breeze noise of fans. Like old CRT TVs and cheap downlights. Old people cant hear them, so they act like there is no problem.

Very interesting! My case is a noise insulated Fractal R5 Silent. Maybe that's why? But I do have a hearing problem too ....
