I've got a couple of the old Squeezeboxes in the garage somewhere. Perfect working order last time I checked, which tbh was a while ago. Make me an offer

Ah, a timely thread!

@doobre - I've got two Squeezebox Duets I no longer use, but are you specifically after a stand-alone one, as opposed to one that needs to be plugged into a stereo?

The Duet model does plug into a stereo; it's the model which has a remote with a screen. The screen of one of them is relatively dim, and it has been since I purchased it s/h. The battery on that one has also been replaced with an after-market model. Other than that they both work fine.

Of course, if you're after a Radio or similar, this is all irrelevant!

Here is a pic of my Spqueezebox Boom. In good condition but the rubber has gone "sticky" on the dial and the backplate. Free to a good home. Pickup in Pukekohe

The rubber on the dial on my Squeezebox Radio did the same; I used Disolveit to clean it up and it ended up looking like new. (We've had a similar problem with the back plastic on the Logitech Harmony remotes as well.)

Hi Guys,

Sorry @doobre I received a PM from @nicmair about the Squeezebox. I didn't even check the username when I got the message and assumed it was from the Original poster on this thread. @nicmair hasn't even contributed to this thread at all. Nic, I really think Clive should take this. I'll put the offer on hold until we can sort out who should get it.

Cheers, Matt
