as the title suggest this is a VGA to Component video adaptor. Useful if you want to connect your PC to a HD TV but your PC lacks digital out or your TV doesn't have HDMI or DVI.

it needs a 12 volt supply positive outside tip as the one I had was 110 volts only and not particularly useful. So if you have a need for such a device and have a power supply that's handy then it's yours.
