I'm after a LCD monitor - this is for a PC build I've done (for near free) that will be given to somebody who doesn't have and can't afford a computer. Ideally something widescreen, 1080p as the computer will be used for InDesign / Photoshop.

Also after 8gb (or more) of DDR3 desktop ram.

If you've got anything laying around that'll work let me know. Can pick up in Wellington.

If you can't find a widescreen, I'm 100% sure I can find you a 17" or maybe even a 19" 4:3 LCD. Let me know.

My old desktop is about to go under the (sledge) hammer and it's screen is available to a good home (free).  It's an old (maybe circa 2007?) Chimei CMV 221D.  According to https://www.cnet.com/products/chimei-221d-silver-black-22-5ms-widescreen-lcd-monitor/specs/ its native resolution is 1680x1050 if that's any help.

Am in Kapiti but coincidentally we are coming in to Wgtn for a dinner at 6 p.m.  Let me know if it's of interest.
