Daughter #3 was given a lightly used Vodafone Smart V8 for Christmas..... and managed to splash the USB connector with salt water before plugging it in.  The Micro-USB socket is (within reason) unrecoverable.

Changing the sub-board at the bottom of the phone doesn't look too challenging, but I can't see that board for sale anywhere.  Has anyone got a V8 with a broken screen that they would part with cheaply?
