Just happened to see this online. No idea if it's any good. Toshiba is a decent brand though.

https://www.thewarehouse.co.nz/p/toshiba-58-inch-4k-ultra-hd-smart-tv-58u7880az/R2505283.html

The brand new 58" 4K Smart TV from Toshiba is equipped with Android TV, Chromecast and Google Assistant built-in as well as Voice Search enabled. Enjoy a multitude of apps, millions of YouTube videos and your favourite (and latest) movies and music all on your TV.

A powerful OS engine powers this TV to display and work in incredible speed and clarity. 3D graphics, online TV streaming, Bluetooth and wireless connectivity to speakers, gaming consoles and controllers.

The one touch button on the remote to access Netflix and Youtube makes is easy and fast to access your favourite streaming content.

Damn that seems cheap! I want one for that reason alone :)

The only problem is that I have nowhere to put it. It would become a second TV. But it is a bit to large for any other room but my lounge.

Maybe I could put it at the foot of the bed ???  - LOL

Wow, that's got to be good buying! My new 49" Sony cost more than that on Boxing Day.

It looks to me like the manufacturers are getting ready to dump anything that's not OLED. Which is understandable, the only reason you wouldn't buy OLED is cost because the image is certainly way superior.

As always, after a short time in production the latest tech gets cheaper, forcing previous gen product into the bargain bins.

Megabyte - so geek it megahertz
