After some Galaxy buds as bundled with the S10 thats just being released.  Happy to pay $150 for them.

On a related note I am after a Galaxy S8 to replace my wife's Huawei P9 so that we are a big happy Samsung family.  Looking for:

  • A screen and back glass that isn't broken or badly scratched (minor scuffs are ok)
  • Extra points for a girly color like gold or purple but black is ok because after all this is going into a case
  • Ideally a 2 Degrees rom so that wifi calling works but other NZ rom is ok because (need to check this) you can flash different roms.

I am all cashed up for the buds now but not looking for the S8 for a couple of weeks.  Putting the feelers out as there is likely someone who is upgrading to the S10 that has one or both of these items.

Confirm you can flash the firmware. Just no downgrading the bootloader - you can ID which bootloader you have by going Settings/About Phone/Software Information - bootloader version is the 9th character in the name of the ROM package.

Updato.com has an excellent selection of firmwares & good download speed too. Grab a 2DM ROM of equal of higher bootloader version, then Odin 3.1.3 will flash the firmware for you.

Megabyte - so geek it megahertz

Only interested in S8? How about Note 8?

Excellent condition, bought from Noel Leeming, 2 degrees branded, black.

I actually have it in Aus as we've moved over here now, but bought in NZ and happy to ship it back. Also still have our NZ bank account, so all transactions would be in NZ.

Not sure if I'll have the buds to go with it

I'm 95% sure I won't be using the buds when my S10 arrives. Will post back or PM you then.

She was adamant that she didn't want a big phone so I think that rules out the note 8.  I upgraded from a s8+ a while ago which I could have given her but she said she didn't want a big phone...

Let me know regarding buds.

If you ship it back you MUST provide the NZ receipt to prove that this was already taxed in our economy. If not prepare for GST.

No worries, I can understand about the phone size. It'll likely still be available if she changes her mind or nothing else suitable comes up

Much appreciate. Made a couple of calls in them this morning. Still after a Galaxy s8 if anyone is upgrading.
