Just had @coffeebaron round to wire up my house. Amazing guy - amazing job.

My old 8 port is no longer going to cut it.

Anyone got a gigabit switch they no longer need? prefer simple - non managed, non poe, don't need sfp's or anything like that.

I have a 24 port UBNT switch which is going to waste in my place since I changed my network config. I think I'm only using 2/3 ports on it now.

While I would love this as it looks awesome (and I have an edge router, and unifi access points), I don't need it, and it would be outside my budget :(

Any offer I make would be insulting and I don't want to do that.

Thanks though!

I'm just looking at my 16 port here at my office. It is pretty much soon to be surplus to requirements. I'll bring it with me when I come to finish the cabling :)

That's awesome. I definitely thought it would be a bit rich asking!

I've had an offer of a 24 port gigabit for pretty cheap on a pm.

the user is going to test it over the weekend and let me know. If it works, that 16 port can go to another deserving geek 😀
