Hi, I'm interested in selling my Surface Pro 3,

It's a Core i5-4300U model with a 128GB SSD and 4GB of RAM, I have the latest Windows 10 version installed with all the updates and the surface specific software installed (there's not much that's surface specific, but I restored the original surface recovery image onto the system then updated to 1809)

It has a dbrand skin applied to it, I can remove it or I can just leave it, the skin looks like this:

(This is a surface pro 6, but the skin is the same except for the cutouts)

Here's a screenshot from the Surface app

The pen has a fresh battery in it, it's been working great

The charger is a "replacement AC adapter", it seems to work fine, was purchased new this year.

I'm looking for around $400 but I'm happy to negotiate a price, or preferably I would like to swap for a Core i5/i7 based laptop, I don't mind if it's older like a ThinkPad with a sandy bridge CPU, but preferably a 15" laptop, and preferably a windows based laptop. Pickup is in Hillcrest in Hamilton, otherwise I can probably post at buyers expense.

how well do these run for standard everyday tasks? i.e., email, youtube, web browsing etc.

I have a swap pending, if that falls through this will be available again

To answer your question: It's pretty nice for day to day stuff, I used it for uni work, so like MS office and stuff as well as some programming stuff in Java, it's great for taking notes for like maths with the pen
