Might be hard to say if you've never used them but what's the word on HA integration with these?

Pretty sure they'll get detected as a gateway only.

Do you still have it?
If so I might be keen, but what do you mean by averse in the house? Thanks

These have sold pending payment but been waiting a few days so nothing concrete yet. Wife didn't want internal cameras.

Been looking at these

Can these use the Aqara app or do you have to use Mi home?

Can’t see any camera options in Aqara

@skewt

The rev 1 and 2 gateway versions are set up with the Mi Home app. The latest iteration with HomeKit compatibility (not compatible with Home Assistant), I believe you can use either app to configure.

Thanks for that, I have a older Xiaomi Camera but it forces me to use the China region in that App so I get notifications in Chinese

Do have some other Aqara gear I have been playing around with

You can change language in the Mi Home app and you will be able to receive notifications in English.  PM me if you need assistance with that.
