Came across and old IBM socket 370 Celeron while cleaning out our factory and the nostalgia in me wants to try and get it running again, just missing the memory so I am after 2 x sticks 256mb PC100 memory, or perhaps 512mb sticks.

I may have something compatible in the garage - I was just recently handed a couple of old boxen to dispose of, and one has an Intel 845 chipset, which according to Wikipedia may take either PC133 or DDR.

If it does have PC133, I'm not sure that will work, but you're welcome to it.

Could well work, give me a shout if you get it out, there is no rush.

I have a lot of old RAM that I can't identify offhand and need to look up, but I also have one piece that says on the label that it is PC 100 and I think 512 MB. It doesn't specifically say that but there is small print on the label that says 8MX64 SDRAM so I assume that means it is 512 MB. I also have two sticks of PC 133 128 MB each, which should also work in your mobo. Depending on your board, it will run at either 133mhz or 100mhz but it should work.

The RAM ought to be ok, but I can't guarantee it, so the chances of something that works are better if you take both the PC 100 and PC 133. You are welcome to all of it. PM me your address if you want it and I will pop it in the post.

What I have is two sticks of:

1GB PC400 HYNIX

D1G86U1-D4H

I'm unsure of compatibility between RAM of this age, but it's yours if you want it.

Looks like you are maybe missing a CPU cooler/heat sink as well.
