If it's under warranty, hit Dell up. I had a minor motherboard problem with my Singapore-purchased Precision almost a year ago. Dell sent a replacement board (with Xeon & Quadro) & a technician to my office - 70km from civilisation - on site replacement done within a week of raising the issue.

But if your XPS is not under warranty, then you should buy this ASUS. 😋

Yeah unfortunately it is about 6m out of warranty.

 

I took it apart and could confirm it was mainboard. Got myself a 256 nvme of it at least...

 

 

 

I don't think she's keen on this one sorry! Good price, surprised it wasn't picked up instantly.
