Hi,

Looking to replace a faulty iPhone 6+ with a good second hand one, with out breaking the bank :)

Looking for plus sized, but happy to consider a standard size if the price is right

Budget is up to $500

If anyone has one they are looking to offload, let me know :)

Clint

With that budget you can also consider refurbs. e.g. www.goodtech.co.nz

Haven't come across them before - but immediately after searching got a "xxxx in Christchurch brought a xxxxx 13 mins ago" pop up message - kinda puts me off :(

I have a 7 plus available.

It's the gloss black version and was the memsahib's until she changed to an XR recently. Works fine. Has some very minor cosmetic marks to the finish on the back in one corner but they are tiny. Glass is fine. Box etc possibly - not sure. It is a 128GB running iOS13.3

I could let you have that for $500 including courier charges.

I agree, that puts me off too (haven't used them so can't comment on their service). But might help knowing what the different models are selling for.

Could be wrong, but while looking at their site 'Daniel in Hamilton' seemed to be buying phones non-stop 😆

Need to be careful, that other re-furb place (DS) shows an online rep for supply of phones w/crap battery, other issues then offering only exceedingly difficult and/or limited recourse?

Are 'Google Customer Reviews' reliable, after 199 Reviews GoodTech is at 97% Positive, is 199 enough to be easily non-skewable ?

'GoodTech Certified'... was does that even mean ?

Thanks. Based on your feedback I will cease recommending refurbished phones to anyone. I usually buy second hand privately myself in an attempt to reduce environmental impact, but know that some people prefer a shop front with guarantees etc.
