Anyone got an old AGP graphics card they are no longer wanting?  Ideally an nvidia as thats whats already in the computer. Doesnt need to be flash, just work.  Its to replace an FX5500 in an old WinXP computer which sadly has some legacy software that needs to be used still.

Ideally Id like to pick up around West Auckland or am happy to pay shipping.

I'll check when I get home at lunch. I believe I've got either PCI or AGP gfx.

FYI

From memory ( it was long ago)..

there were 2 common AGP versions : not compatible (different voltages)
You can tell from the gaps on the connector (I think, it was long ago)

You should be able to use an even older PCI vid card .

Good point! I had forgotten that!  Its an AGP 1.5v slot (which is AGP2?) which has the slot closer to the front of the card (as in closer to the VGA port) rather than the back.  But in theory as long as the card as that slot or two slots on it things should be fine.

ok, I have a PCI TNT2, so whilst you're welcome to it, maybe see if there's a better offer?
