I am very keen for an ASUS Eee PC and was wondering if any forum members have brand new or second hand ones to sell? I am interested in the 901, 1000 and 1000H models.

I would also be interested in a Dell Inspiron Mini 9 Laptop if anyone has one for sale?

Please PM me or reply to this topic if you can help

Cheers

If you want a new one, visit DSE or your local store..... theres not many (if any) places selling them cheaper. Even a friend who has a flatmate working for Asus (or their distributor or something) over here got one with "staff" discount, and there wasnt much pricing difference from retail.

Yeah I had a look on DSEs website for a quick comparison earlier, doesn't look like they're selling the 901 and 1000H series, just the 701 and 900 series.

I have seen the 1000 series at Harvey Norman.

Fair enough, was just saying doesn't look like they do it, as it doesn't appear on their website under a simple EeePC search. A couple of other Asus laptops show up on the EeePC search though so maybe they are the 1000 series but named wrong?

Hey Hollow,

I wouldn't bother searching on Harvey Norman's website because the number of items they post is very limited.  Go into the shop and you will find they have a lot more models to offer:)

lol heavenly_wild I mis-read your post mate, for some reason I thought it said DSE (Has been a long week) because I had said they didn't seem to provide EeePCs in my previous post.

Anyway as I'm a direct competitor of Harvey Normans I rarely ever actually go to one of their stores. :D

dse isn't even selling any of the latest models, they're still only up to the 900.

there's atleast 10 different retailers on pricespy offering better prices than dse too, let alone better Eee models.

i think i'll just wait for a good cheap one to pop up on trademe, just thought i might ask here first in case anyone had one they were willing to part with.
