Trying to fix an old sound studio unit for a family member, and the original drive has failed. Apparently these things like WD drives over anything else.... but the only spare IDE I have is stuffed.

So does anyone have a 20/40GB IDE WD drive I could have ? :)

TIA

Pretty sure I have one I kept just in case. Let me have a check and confirm. Can send it anywhere at your cost. Otherwise I'm in Auckland or Hamilton.

I've got an 80GB Caviar removed from a Panasonic DVD HDD recorder. WD800BB-55JKCO

I can't test it easily, the one machine I have with IDE is sitting in a cupboard without an OS....
