Wasnt sure if ex mining cards are all good or not

 

i guess its nice he told people, half of them probably dont even mention it

Generally they are not, unless you are really desperate I personally would stay away.

IMHO the only real risk with mining cards is the wear on the fan, and maybe the heatsink paste.

 

My 1070 is an ex mining card I bought in early 2018 and it's given me no grief at all, the seller had 6 of them and was very upfront about it.

 

 

 

There's always a risk second hand, you can always buy a new 580 for around $360
