Something with decent GPU(1070 onwards) and CPU(8750h onwards) for video editing and reasonably light weight.

Have a look at AMD rysen cpu for your needs. I see they are better for the work you want to do.

Budget sort of depends. If wasn't for lockdown, usually buy my stuff in Aus and much cheaper than NZ.
