Bit of a long shot but I'm looking for a 1GB DDR2 SODIMM but 144-pin not the usual 200-pin, it's for an embedded system which seems to be indicating memory faults. They're readily available from overseas but while the memory itself costs virtually nothing the shipping from the US or Europe is lethal.

Does that mean standard laptop types are no use? I've got a small collection of DDR2 laptop memory you could have.

What kind of speed is the memory you're after?

Edit: just googled some part numbers and they're 200 pin, soz.

Yeah, unfortunately. 144-pin ones are only used in embedded systems, laptop ones are all 200-pin. Speed grade doesn't matter, I think the memory bus is 400Mhz so almost anything will do.

Hmm, the only similar thing I've junked lately was PC104 format. I dont think they had replaceable memory modules.

Hmm, is that definitely a 144? The single notch would mark it as a 200, 144s have a double notch placed lower down.

Edited to add: Just checked and it appears to be this, which is 200 pins.
