Hi Everyone,

I've just got a smaller bbq to replace an old (and rusted) 6 burner.

Is my only option to chuck it?

Doesn't seem like scrap dealers want BBQ's from a quick Google.

How much cast iron is in it. They should be interested in that.

A scrap dealer in Wgtn gave me the number of one of their frequent fliers. If all I wanted was to be rid of the scrap I could call him and see if he would collect.

That's a really good idea. I've searched scrap metal dealers on Facebook Chch buy/sell and messaged one. If not response I'll try another.
