Bump $1350 lowest before on tradeMe
Man, the resale market is brutal.
You should consider posting the photos of the phone to attract potential buyers.
it's not brutal, it's what it is. demand and supply. unfortunately not many people can afford phones that cost more than their cars in this climate. I'd love a new note 20 but costs too much.
and people who can afford $1000+ phones probably all want a note 20

I think that's true, I was going to buy the Galaxy S20 Ultra but because of camera focusing problems etc with the S20 Ultra, I decided to wait and look at the new Note 20 Ultra.
But if you really want a good camera, a SLR with interchangeable lenses is still a lot better (IMHO) than the cameras in mobile phones.
Also keep in mind that the price is not the real price. Apple raise prices because they like money and their consumers don't have many options. Samsung have to match those prices because their product is aimed at the same level of consumers (those that want the best and don't care about the price). To boost sales Samsung then give away a bunch of free stuff with preorders, offer discounts though carriers and boost the trade in value. By the time all this is done a 2k phone is down to about 1k in real value.
Based on that I can't see why anyone would buy a phone at full RRP other than the preorder and buying a six month old phone at 1k isn't that good a deal as you don't get the preorder stuff or discounts.
This is also the exact wrong time to sell a S20 as second hand value drops as soon as the next phone is out. If you can handle it the right way to do it is preorder the next phone, sell the current one before release day and then use a spare phone to get you through the period between when you sold the last one and when you get the next one.
The best way to get value out of the trade in offer is to buy the cheapest thing they will accept off trade me and then trade that in.
