Looking for an Oscilloscope- preferably with 2+ channels (and analogue?) - to hook up to my Eurorack Synths so I can visualise the awful noises I am making.

Try to do as cheap as possible until I establish exactly how much value it has for me!

If you just want it for audio then you can do it for close to zero cost using a sound card, or very cheaply using any number of USB scope adapters, which are just A/D converters and software for the rest.

Good idea.

Will need an adaptor fo the Eurorack synths etc. This will be a 3.5mm TR cable and will be below line level - got any recommendations for the A/D converter bit and the software?

Not offhand because it depends heavily on what you're feeding from and to. Best-case you could just plug it straight into a sound card's audio in, and then use e.g. the Digilent scope software, if you need to level match you could DIY it with this circuit, etc. Or get a sacrificial cheap USB sound card if you're worried about running the signal directly into a PC and use that, there's a ton of them on Trademe for $15-20.

I would run it through a VCA and close it off completely before *slowly* opening it up, so not too worried about the signal running into the PC.

Will try and see!

How big a screen do you need ?
Small handheld scopes are dirt cheap on Aliexpress / Bangood. Even available as kitsets

I have a old single channel scope I never use , would be good enough for audio freq's .
Otherwise try trademe .
