Is there no way of wall mounting this without an additional bracket?

Haha my bad. What I mean by that is it has a specific bracket for this type of TV. You can't mount it on universal VESA mounts. I may be wrong

I have the successor model and it is quite definitely wall mounted on a generic vesa mount.

OK cool thanks. Lesson learnt, do not trust Australian review websites. Found another site which confirmed it is indeed VESA mountable.
