Hi, I need a P5 pentalobe screwdriver to open up a 2015 13” Macbook Pro to check the WiFi board as WiFi has become intermittent.  Can I buy just the single driver and if so where ?  Alternatively can someone in Lower Hutt / Wellington area loan me one ?

I've got a P5 here in CBD if you don't find one closer; came with a replacement battery I just got recently

That’s a fine offer.  Go me checking the driver that came with a 2010 MBP replacement battery but that was not pentalobe.  Have a full set of T drivers but Apple moved on the the Ps.

Will be in CBD tonight (concert in Michael Fowler centre) so could collect around 6 pm if convenient.  😀

Hi Champakram,

Are you in the Wellington area, if so PM me with your contact details ?  If so you can borrow my P5 and jnimmo's P5 when I'm finished with it.

I'm pretty sure I have a full set. I'm in Brooklyn. Let me know if you need it.

While it'll take a little while to arrive if ordering from a site like eBay, it's worth having a set of these more unusual bits... I bought one so I could fix one of the joycons of my boys' Switch.

Around $14 with free shipping:

Yep, I got your immediate need is met - I was just saying it's not expensive to have a set on-hand; given the ever-increasing number of devices in a household, it's likely you'll need one such driver again!

Were are you located? Also try looking in standard hardware stores, I was surprised to find 100mm security Torx screwdrivers on the rack at the local M10, which I needed to open up a device with recessed screws not reachable by the standard x-in-one combi screwdriver set.

Ali Express and cheap as chips

Yeah, but then there's a 1-2 month delay before you get them, if they actually arrive.

Not had any issues with them since early August
