I've ended up with a Vodafone cable modem.  Is it of any use to anyone?  Can you sign up to FibreX and supply your own or have I got ewaste to dispose of?

If it is of use, you're welcome to it, pickup Karori, Wellington.

Which model is it?

This belongs to Vodafone so should be returned to a Vodafone shop.

Good to know. They should stick big stickers on them, then, informing their customers of this. I have never been a Vodafone broadband customer - picked up the modem bundled with a router on Trademe.

Useless unless provided direct to you by Vodafone as part of your HFC broadband plan and provisioned by Vodafone. It also belongs to Vodafone as others have stated. :)

Careful taking it in they might end up charging you monthly fees and disconnection fees the way they carry on.
