Bought about 3 years ago, we recently moved it and it caused one half of the screen to become slightly darker than the other so it's being replaced by our insurer and they don't want this one back so figured someone might want it.

We don't have the box so will need to be collected and would strongly prefer buyer to inspect it first. It'll be wall mounted until tomorrow evening as the replacement arrives on Thursday morning.

When you say you “moved it”, what do you mean? The reason I ask is I have a W8 and if I ever need to move it I would like to avoid the same fate.

Also out of interest are they replacing it with a WX or did they find a W7?

We got a new entertainment unit which was a lot lower so took it off the wall for 2 hours and it didn't like it. Could be just a loose cable or may just fix itself over time but insurance were happy to replace it with the WX so I'm not going to argue :)

I certainly wouldn’t be complaining about the upgrade either! I noticed the WX doesn’t have the pop up Atmos speakers, I would be interested to know how it does the audio now.

My wife often asks why I keep the boxes that things come in. This is a perfect example of why I do. (Although if I wanted this year’s  model........).

Trying not to derail too much with a ailly question, but when you took it off the wall it wasn't half in direct sun for that time?

These things are sensitive to direct UV light and I've had dark patches from light reflections on my B6 OLED. They do get ironed out over time via the internal screen refresh.

If you're giving it away I'll drive up from up Oamaru and take it. :)

Nope, was in my office with blinds drawn. It's perfectly down the middle almost as if the screen is made of 2 panels where one is 1% different to the other. I'd keep it to use myself as it's not noticeable most of the time but we don't have anywhere else in the house that needs a 65" TV.

I think the ones that pop up are just tweeters but could be mistaken on that, I will miss them a bit as they always put a smile on visitors faces :)
