These chargers are expensive, usually around $70 for a Belkin or Samsung.

If anyone has a one in used condition willing to sell, please let me know.

Alternatively does anyone have experience/opinions with off-market branded adaptors such as this:

Sorry for the proliferation of WTB requests.

This battery pack;

Maybe kids Nintendo switch.

Don’t have a USB-C laptop etc, but in time I’d like to upgrade my Surface Pro 3.

I suppose a lower watt unit would work ok (say 30w) but would be a bit slower to recharge the battery pack for example.

I bought the white version of this one from PB and it has been great - charges my large battery pack and my iPad Pro rapidly

Typically speaking many of the cheaper chargers are crap, and many brand name ones are poor quality or seriously overpriced.

I've been through probably 15 different chargers over the past 8 years or so as I buy them for testing and then keep upgrading as something newer or better comes out or get rid of them simply because they're useless.

Right now I have OEM versions (simply different branding on them) of these two chargers sold by PB Tech. Both are good.

I also have one of these which I've never seen in NZ even under a different brand

IMHO one of the best value for money chargers right now (and it's a highly competitive market now with so many new ones appearing mostly on kickstarter sites) is this Pepper Jobs which is 100W PD. Once again is just an OEM charger so is available with different brands on it. I don't have one but know a couple of people who do after I recommended them but I have zero idea if you'd get one in NZ or have to import on from the likes of Amazon. It really depends of you're keen to future proof yourself with a 100W PD charger or are happy with 60W.

I’ll be able to tell you how well that one works in a few days. Had a client who’d misplaced their Tomox TX MU520C & cried when I told them $80. I use & recommend Tomox, my TX MU520C has never let me down. Last time round they were happy to spend $80, not this time though.

So they’ve now purchased the F88 75w from the Trademe link you provided - should arrive tomorrow. It won’t be getting any real heavy duty work, just iPad, iPhone & Note 10+ charging.

Thanks for the link, saved me some time.

Until Intel releases it's chip to allow multiple ports to charge at 60+W, the PD chargers are pretty limited to their non PD predecessors. I bought two 100w Satechi chargers at xmas time for <$100 and I have been very happy with them. Super Fast Charging works well. I just really want 2 Super Fast Ports.

I never knew how badly I wanted Super Fast Charging, until I had it. It's saved my neck a few times already.

I personally am pretty happy to use the cheap and cheerful ones and have had a good experience doing so, but if you're looking to spend more money on a "quality" charger, make sure you get something that's USB-IF certified. That's the only certification that really means anything. You can search here to see if a device is certified.

I use and recommend this Nekteck model. There's a bigger 87w model too.

PS. Anything that also offers proprietary, non-standard charging methods like QuickCharge won't get USB-IF certification. You want to stick as close to vanilla USB-C PD as possible.
