Hi all,

I have a Great Outdoors tent, and it seems very difficult to get replacement poles.

If anyone has an old tent the are disposing of I'd love to take some of the poles, in particular pole 24 and 8a - though would be happy to take more for spares.

Alternatively if you know where I can get replacements that would also be great.

I have tried awning manufacturers, tent repair people, twinneedles, dwights and many others.

Surprised you say Dwights were not able to supply?

Not cheap though, $25 each.

I'm hopefully picking up at least two for mine tomorrow!

Dwights won't commit they work for great outdoors tents - they state they work for their tents.

I'm picking up mine from them tomorrow, for a 2011 Great Outdoors tent.

Will take my bent one along to confirm they're the same, but they've been really helpful when I emailed them the diagram inside the pole bag and circled the pieces I need.

Can also measure I guess too when talking to them.

@jaxson - Is yours a Great Outdoors or Dwights branded? If you do get the poles can you confirm they are drop in replacements?

Looking closer mine is a Go Camping Coastline tent, 2011/12 model.

Hmmm - well if you get lucky and they fit let me know anyway. If they do, maybe they are all the same size and I'll order one and maybe get lucky.

@jase2985 Thanks very much for the offer, and would have taken you up but over the weekend they emailed me and said they are compatible.

To solve the issue for anyone else googling in the future:

Dwights sell replacement Canvas tent poles: Replacement Poles for Canvas Tents – Dwights Outdoors

They are drop in replacements for great outdoors canvas tents and other canvas tent brands that use the same numbering system.

They have a greater range instore than is listed online, so if your pole is not listed give them a call.
