Hey guys,

I bought this on Jan 29th but our situation has changed (we're changing the whole front door so going for something different.

Same as here: https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/HOMYLE8003/Yale-Smart-Assure-SL-Digital-Lock-Deadbolt-Oil-Rub?qr=pspy&ref=pricespy

This has been installed for a couple of weeks but is in great condition.

Comes with everything, including box. Looking for $410. Pick up or drop off from Auckland

Anyone keen?

I'd be interested in what you're sticking on the new front door?

I'm yet to find my perfect lock.

Fingerprint, pin code, WIFI/Zwave. I'd prefer not to have traditional key, or needs to be high security. The external connection hubs are a bit annoying, but make sense to conserve energy if going to WIFI.

Lockly locks closest match so far.

The Yale Smart Assure SL, does otherwise seem like a nice lock and has been on my radar.

Yeah, we're on the same page regarding requirements. Getting a lockly put in so we can get the fingerprint (Wife is into it for some reason). And since we're changing the door, we'll move to a lock that has the integrated handle (Lockly has this) so as to avoid having too much hardware on the door.
Yale has been great though, nothing wrong with it, App is good and integrate nicely with Home Assistant through the built-in August Integration.

Ah nice. Fingerprint is just faster/easier and doesn't matter if someone is watching you. Just not too sure about it exposed to elements, and actual security of it. Assuming there's good sensors and not so good ones. Integrated handle has benefits, like just opening it from the inside etc, is just simpler.

The new Lockly one with doorbell camera is interesting, but putting all your eggs in one basket, annoying if one side of things doesn't work well or fails.

Getting an insulated door also worth considering if you haven't.

Yeah considered the video one briefly but as you say, that's a lot of feature/money in one device...
Getting one of those Duramax doors which I understand have good thermal properties. cheers

I have been looking at the Samsung SHS-P718 , got a quote for just over $1000 incl GST for the lock and installation.  Seems to be the best looking lock with fingerprints, but the price is a huge barrier, hence I still haven't got it installed.
