Needed for my son in Year 10

Happy to be guided by experienced Mac people but have heard bad things about butterfly keyboards on the newer models. Thinking maybe a late 2015 model might be best?

Open to whatever anyone might have available.

Need it within the next week.

Thanks

I have a 2015 i5 / 8GB / 128GB with no delamination even. Could do for $600? Let me know if your interested and I'll take some pictures.

Re: the butterfly keyboard - I've had a few and the later generations are not bad... they are an acquired taste but once you get used to them they are okay. I feel like a like a teenager would adapt to the shorter keys fairly quickly so don't let that put you off too much.

The butterfly keys don't have the durability of older ones but the 2020 Magic Keyboard versions are pretty good and sturdy. The M1 macbooks come with them
