What did you use the smart implant for - looks an interesting device and one I haven't seen before.

A garage door opener, which it worked well for. It can be powered from the door opener (Well on mine anyway) with an independent switch (toggle) and dry contact (Reed switch).

I believe so, but it would have been via the Vera Controller. I switched my Z-Wave stuff to Shellie's.
