I'm looking for a webcam for a couple of webinars I will be presenting next month.  I've had a look at Pricespy but don't know that I want to spend much for something that I may not use much after these webinars.  But as I'll be a presenter I don't want a bargain basement camera that will be unreliable or poor quality.  I figured a good compromise might be a webcam that a GZer doesn't use much anymore and wants to offload.

I don't have one to offer - but for infrequent use you might find just using a phone as a webcam does the trick:-

Unsolicited advice: If you want to make a really good impression, please spend an equal amount on buying a quality microphone. It is 50% of your presentation and good, or great audio quality immediately delivers a "professional" feel to your audience. Setting up, testing and ensuring your audio recording quality is just as, if not more important than your camera and/or lighting combo.

Depending on where you are, another option that would cover things from both an audio and video perspective might be to use a podcast/webinar/live streaming studio with facilities in place already. This is especially pertinent if it’s for work as your employer or the sponsor of the webinar may cover the cost.

I happen own such a studio in Auckland - happy to point you in the right direction in other cities if helpful.

Thanks for all the responses.  I tried out Camo from Reincubate software for the iPhone and it looks like a good option.  I need to do a proper test over a live connection, which I will try and do this weekend, but I think this should do the job.

I have a headset which I used last year during lockdown for Teams calls, and the voice quality is pretty good so I think I will use that as my microphone option.
