These came free with SSDs back in the day.

I am pretty sure none of these have been used, but just in case, I have a few spares that I will get rid of once I know the first 15 are happy.

Software gets downloaded from here... https://www.acronis.com/en-sg/promotion/CrucialHD-download/

Run the software and enter the short code off the pic you'll receive, etc.

Has a few limitations, but great for full backups.

NAS: DS1819+ - 52Tb in Raid6

My rig: HP Elitebook X360 Lappy with a 2Tb SN850.. woohoo.. I've retired!

9 Gone...

All PM's replied to.

Please download and activate them as soon as you can, that way (I have actually counted them all up now) all of them can go help others out.

I'm sure that I haven't used any of these myself, so should all work just fine, simply left over from my activities over the last few years.

One limitation: Must have a Crucial SSD installed on the system when you install the software. I'll hook it up via USB later to check.

Interesting... pretty sure that I never encountered that issue (but hey... I am 65 now lol).  I'm hoping you have received a code that has been used and it's not an actual requirement... did you receive an error message to that effect?

Installation stalls before it gets to the registration/unlock stage. I'll hopefully find out after dinner.

Thanks... LMK please, and apologies to all if that is the case... someone might have to create a small external 'Crucial' ssd drive that can be sent around for cheap for the purpose if that's the case.

Pretty sure this is correct.  From the FAQ:

"I have a product key but the program does not ask for it.

Older versions of True Image HD used a 16-digit product key for registration of the program. This step is no longer required for the current version of the software. As long as a Crucial BX-series or MX-series drive is connected to the system, True Image for Crucial will now install without registration."

Thanks for the update... things have indeed changed.

My apologies to those who encounter this problem.  If I had a Crucial ssd laying around, I'd happily toss it to the group in an external case and let you ship it around to get the activation done!
