Make sure you have the latest bios version installed.

(I had to check the website for this, as the dell support assistant software didn't suggest there was a new one available).

Not saying there is, but please check first.
Have just been through this with another dell/alienware product and luckily for me the bios update did address the incompatibility stability issues.

For a minute I had some hope.. there was a new Bios update.. but didn't solve my compatibility issue.. (and I can find many others in the world with the same problem on this model laptop).. so..

They are still for sale.. moving to Trade Me in 24hrs.
