I will just note that with modular PSU cables you want to be really sure that they are from the same manufacturer as your PSU as otherwise you risk your pc being fried

Yes very much aware of that. I have several modular PSUs, some with missing cables, but all cables will be multimeter tested to ensure correct polarity etc!  :-)
