Hey team - got some older Dell notebooks that have been replaced by business using them.

I have priced them basically as the sum of their parts -  so if they don't sell I'll probably just strip them down and take the rest to the recyclers.

All are i5 - 8GB (2x4GB DDR3) - 240GB SSD drive configs. Battery Health will be Low - Normal.. I can check specific models.

Power adapters are included as are Windows 7 Pro licenses. (Work for Windows 10)

All have wear and tear like marks on the lid / around the bezels...  gloss on the trackpad and some wear on the keys. No major dents or anything however.

DELL Latitude 2nd gen E6420 14" $100ea 3x available.

DELL Latitude 4th gen E6440 14" $120ea 2x available.

DELL Latitude 3rd gen E6430 14" $120ea 1x available.

DELL Latitude 3rd gen E5530 15" $120ea 1x available.

Can do contactless pickup from Pukete Hamilton or ship them for around $10-20 depending on the destination.

Strange? The install on there was only a week  or so old as I removed the customers original hard drives. Which issue are you having exactly?

I just have a standard USB created with the media creation tool and haven't had any issues installing on any of these Dell's.

My E6440 is going great, no stability issues. I updated everything that Microsoft suggested, and it is chuffing along quite happily.

A great little machine.

Having used the built in Windows 10 Reset function (clear everything start fresh mode), the laptop randomly locks up. Be it on login screen, booting (boot circle thing just stops spinning), or sometimes within Windows itself. doesn't BSOD or crash, just freezes, time doesn't change (for over 10 minutes)

The laptop froze during the reset phase (was in there for over 4 hours), and got her to power off, and unstable since..

We're going to get create a new USB stick tomorrow and will try reinstall Windows tomorrow night.

Hopefully per the link above its a drivers issue.

@Gurezaemon Did you do a reset, or just carry on from the install already in place?

I'm thinking there is an issue in the reset process, will report back on outcomes over the weekend.

Does your one have the dedicated GPU? I can’t remember which ones did off the top of my head now.

You can flick it back for me to soft if that’s easier. Can just book the courier to collect.

I just carried on with the fresh install, changed the username, that's all. It saved me messing around with trying to find Dell drivers, etc.

I'll see how it goes tonight, hoping fresh install, and the two video drivers from Dell site should get back to stable.

Will keep you updated.
