I'm looking for one of the wee remotes for a Parrot MKi9000 hands free auto kit. I've just bought a car with one of these fitted and while the system itself works, the remote does not.

I've looked online and the pricing for a new one is $200+ which is pretty unpalatable if it should not work. I'm imagining someone might have one of these in a box somewhere...

When trying a new battery, did you try some isopropyl alcohol on the contracts, by any chance? Also might be worth striping down the remote and cleaning pressure switch contacts, etc, with isopropyl. Worth a crack?

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

I do note that the previous owner has broken the battery mount and I suspect it may not be sitting firmly and creating a good connection. I might have to think about how to resolve that :)
