Hey guys - I’m need of a old school FireWire 400 cable - the big chunky end one. For some retro PPC mac gear.

I’m in Hamilton but happy to pay postage :)

Or if anyone knows a store that sells these they would ship to me let me know…. I have all mine away years ago and now they seem to have disappeared from all the normal old technology outlets

I may still have a couple and even a FireWire card.
Will have a look and get in touch.

Found one cable, so it’s yours if you want it.
It has the large plug on one end and the small on the other.
I’m in Tauranga.

Sorry mate I need the large in both ends - it’s going Mac to Mac for target disk mode

Nah that's 800.

I (think I) have a 400 one, but I'm in Whakatane so probably best to see whether anyone closer has one.

Have one but I'm way down in Welly-land.

I have both 4-pin to 6-pin (as per image) and 6-pin to 6-pin (right side). These what you're after?

Looks like this is sorted... an absolute GC that lives not far from me is going to drop one off tomorrow....
