I think I have put myself in an annoying spot where I need another CPU in order to upgrade a motherboard BIOS to support a barely more modern Broadwell CPU.

After a Haswell-EP E5-xxxx v3 CPU. Anybody got one in their junk pile?

Thanks :)

That would be amazing. At least if I upgrade bios and the v4 doesn't work I know I eventually have a v3 cpu on its way. :)

I will pm you my details.

I've got an i7-5820k and a 26-something v3. The former is spare, the latter is in my PC but could be borrowed.

Where are you? Wellington?
