Hey GZ,

I'm looking to put together a home office PC for the family. Before I go hit up TradeMe I wonder if anyone has something they'd like to sell?

Budget is around $300ish. Probably in the realm of ex-lease HP Elitedesk or Dell Optiplex. Doesn't need to have any HDD or OS.

What have you?

Thanks in advance.

PTL computers could be an option - they have a good range of ex-lease gear, and are normally happy to remove the drives already in the PCs for a discount.

Hi there

I have the following coming on the market (no OS and no Drives) in a week to 10days. All this in a Cooler Master Storm case and it is in Auckland.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

If no other bites, let me know pricing and will see if something can be done :)

I saw this pop up on TradeMe recently, strikes me as quite good value. If you want to add a GPU etc. the case isn't optimal but could be swapped out reasonably cheaply. Looks to be out West too.

PBtech often have off-lease stock.  Have purchased a couple from there circa $300 that have done very well for a basic family computer set up.

Thanks for the offers and advice guys. I've had a think today and decided that I'm upping the budget a bit and diving into a new build.  Will start with an AMD 5600g which seems to be very well priced right now. Cheers!
