Thought I would get a digital photo frame but seems these things are not "cool" or indeed cheap anymore.

Does anyone have one languishing unloved in a cupboard somewhere?

Just want to play jpgs from a USB stick or memory card.

Free is good, so is cheap as in less than $50?

Open to negotiation though.

Thanks.

So happens 2 weeks ago I found ours in a box about 4 years after it was packed away , a JB Mathews one.

The war department saw it and decided that the daughters wedding photos should be on it....sorry.

You could look at a used iPad or something like that...

@sir1963 , timing is everything it seems 😀

I do have an old ipad, but unfortunately, despite me deleting everything i can off it, the remaining storage is inadequate for my needs. and you cant just slip extra storage into it.

Would you consider paying a little more for a 2nd hand or new Google Hub?  Photos are controlled by Google Photos (15GB) free, and you get a smart speaker too.

I did consider google hubs, but a dedicated stand-alone device is more appropriate for my use I think. Thanks though.

We have one just sitting around. Hardly used, my mother-in-law died recently and she never used it.

I have taken some pictures of the box so you can get an idea of what's on offer. It was made in China and carries the Amicore brand name. They are an Australian company. How does $20 sound plus courier fee.

Anyone hacked one to update remotely?

You're not on Atlantis anymore, Duncan Idaho.

The image quality on most of them is so poor it's hardly worth the effort.
