Anyone got an old PWM fan lying around?

(in AKL pref pickup)

Looking for a small one (under 100mm) for a cold smoke project (Arduino temp controlled fan for a smoker cabinet)

I got an AMD CPU cooler one, but the tacho sensor stopped sending signals (I've done a lot of testing and may have stuffed it up).

I will be really interested to see that, I am just about to list my smoker on TM.

I am moving house an no room for two smokers.

I use a cold smoke generator for cold smoking and with a gas ring for normal smoking.

I used a simple esp8266 board (D1 R2 in a Arduino style board), and a couple waterproof DS18B20 Dallas temp probes

My cold smoking requires constant airflow, so I have the fan on the lowest setting by default (don't need any circuitry to power it off). And it will progressively ramp up the speed as the temp gets higher.

As soon as have it mounted on the smoker, I will write it up on the Home Assistant thread (as I have the sensors updating in hA)
