Under the rules, you need to state a price you are willing to pay.

 

An asking price makes sense if you're selling, and most of the WTB posts I've seen don't have asking prices. It's up to the seller to decide what their price is, but if it helps $2700 is my budget.

The rules do say state a price but it’s not entirely clear if that also applies to WTB. So after re-thinking I deleted my post - but not before you saw it.

Stating an exact price for WTB, doesn't entirely make sense. When you sell something you know what it is, exact specs, and condition. Stating a budget or price range is useful though.
