Not looking for anything too fancy
1-2ghz proc, 512mb to 1gb ram, no hdd, USB2 (or 1.. 2 preffered)

And needs to be VERY quiet.

How much do you want to spend? I've got some Tecra M2 laptops here for $230 which might do the job.

Around that.

They wouldn't get noisy (fans) after running for weeks on end?
Also is the USB USB2?

Yep, 2 USB 2 ports, VGA out, DVD/RW drive, 1.6Ghz CPU, 768MB RAM, 40GB HDD (Can take it out if you don't need it, but being that it's 2.5" you probably would). They've done a fair bit of time so far without the fans going out, so as long as they're not under heavy load all the time necessitating them running at high speed, there's no reason they shouldn't last a fair while longer.
